Fun at the Nyala Golf Day
By Ian Diedericks – a learner at Gelofte School
The Nyala Golf Day was truly a remarkable experience for my team from Gelofte School. We really enjoyed the event and for me, the best part was that although this was only my second time playing Golf, we did not come last!
The weather was perfect and the players were out there doing what they enjoyed most.
I was extremely proud to get a birdie, despite it being only my second time playing golf – but I know it all came down to luck.
The Gelofte team was really happy about how the day progressed. The meals we had at the end of the day were delicious and driving the golf carts was loads of fun. Next year we will be back to get in the higher ranks and play better golf.
My thanks are extended to Hannelie for informing me about this Golf Day and making it possible for us to be part of this amazing event.
