Indemnity

INDEMNITY In favour of THE KWAZULU-NATAL HUNTING SHOOTING AND CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION, 45 Maurice Nichols Road, Hatton Estates, Pinetown, 3610 (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) and any Landowner on whose land any hunting (as defined below) takes place (hereinafter referred as “the Landowner”). To be completed, signed and returned to the ASSOCIATION’S office by every person prior to participating in any shooting or hunting organised by the ASSOCIATION.

1. I wish to participate in hunting opportunities, shooting competitions and any other occasion where firearms are used (hereinafter referred to as “shooting”) arranged for me by the Association on land controlled by the Landowners of their Tenants;
2. I am physically fit and there is nothing which renders me unfit or incapable of participating in such shooting;
3. I understand and appreciate fully that I may: contract disease, be injured or killed, my property damaged or destroyed as a result of the use of: - firearms, motor vehicles, aircraft or other equipment of whatsoever nature, the food and liquid I may eat or drink, or as a result of being bitten by snakes, scorpions, ticks or other dangerous or poisonous animals or insects whatsoever; or as a result of a lack of care or skill or negligence of the Association of its Members the Landowners, their Agents, Employees from any other cause whatsoever.
4. I further understand and appreciate fully that I may be injured or killed or my property may be damaged or destroyed as a result of the negligence or lack of skill of other participants or other persons accompanying me;
5. I voluntarily assume the risks inherent in taking part in such shooting and I, together with my heirs, executors and administrators do hereby release the Association and/or the Landowner, their agents or employees from any duty of care towards me in connection with my participation in such shooting and from liability from all or any claims that could arise in my favour or that of my heirs, dependents, executors and administrators arising out of my participation in the said shooting or in any related activities irrespective of whether such claims arose through the negligence of any person from any of the risks, dangers or hazards inherent in shooting, or from any other cause whatsoever;
6. I confirm that I have knowledge of the Rules and Conditions relating to the hunting at Kameelkop in 2017.
